Major Thibaut Jr. (born January 3, 1977), is an American politician who served as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for the 18th district from 2008 to 2020. The district encompasses Iberville, West Baton Rouge, West Feliciana, and Pointe Coupee parishes. Thibaut is known for his efforts to obtain infrastructure improvements in his largely rural district.[1]

Thibaut was born in Oscar, Louisiana. He graduated the Catholic High School of Pointe Coupee in 1995 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government from Louisiana State University in 1999.
