Makhambet District (Kazakh: Махамбет ауданы, romanized: Mahambet audany) is a district of Atyrau Region in Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is Makhambet.[3] Population: 32,104 (2013 estimate);[2] 29,167 (2009 census results);[4] 26,559 (1999 census results).[4]
