Mamadou Diakhon (born 22 September 2005) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Belgian Pro League club Club Brugge.[1] Born in France, he plays for the Senegal national team.

Born in Strasbourg,[2] Mamadou Diakhon joined the Reims academy in 2021.[3]

On 27 May 2023, he made his professional debut for Reims in a Ligue 1 match against Olympique Lyon, before signing his first professional contract with the club in summer 2023.[4][5][6]

On 18 August 2025, Diakhon joined Belgian Pro League side Club Brugge for a reported transfer fee of €8.5 million, signing a four-year contract.[7]

International career

Born in France, Diakhon is of Senegalese and Malian descent.[8][9][10]

He is a youth international for France,[6] first receiving a call up to the under-18 squad in March 2023.[11] He made his France U18 debut during a 4-3 friendly win against Germany, where he also scored his first goal.[12][13] He was subsequently called up for the Maurice Revello Tournament.[6]

Diakohn opted to play for the Senegal national team in March 2026. He debuted for Senegal in a friendly 3–1 win over The Gambia on 30 March 2026.[14]
