Manas (Russian: Мана́с) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Karabudakhkentsky District of the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 5,357.[4]

Administrative and municipal status
Within the framework of administrative divisions, the urban-type settlement of Manas is incorporated within Karabudakhkentsky District as Manas Settlement[citation needed] (an administrative division of the district).[2] As a municipal division, Manas Settlement is incorporated within Karabudakhkentsky Municipal District as Manas Urban Settlement.[5]
