Manay ([mɐnaɪ], also spelled Man-ay), officially the Municipality of Manay (Mandaya: Banwa nang Manay), is a first class municipality in the province of Davao Oriental, Philippines. According to the 2024 census, it has a population of 39,271 people.[5] The epicenter of the 2025 Davao Oriental earthquakes was recorded off the coast of Manay.

Climate

Manay has a tropical rainforest climate (Af) with heavy to very heavy rainfall year-round.
