Manilyn is a self-titled fourth album by Filipino singer-actress Manilyn Reynes, released in 1988 under OctoArts International. It was released on cassette and vinyl. The album was certified double platinum by PARI in the Philippines.[1]

Single

In 1988, Reynes signed with OctoArts International and released the self-titled album, Manilyn. The EP album contained 7 tracks.[2][3]

Reynes released the single, "Sayang na Sayang" in 1988. The song became a viral hit song and topped the Philippines Billboard charts, also earning a platinum award.[4]

In 2021 interview, Reynes confirmed that her single, "Sayang na Sayang", was written for actor Janno Gibbs, whom their team up in movies was cut short in 1989 when Gibbs began dating actress Bing Loyzaga[5][6]. After three decades, Reynes and Gibbs remains good friends.[5]
