Marius Kryger Lindh

Danish footballer (born 1999) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Marius Kryger Lindh (born 22 June 1999) is a Danish professional footballer who currently plays in the Faroe Islands Premier League for NSÍ Runavík as attacking midfielder.[1][2] In 2026 Marius Kryger Lindh made history, by becoming the first one-armed footballer to score in European club competition since the 1963/64 season. He scored an important 2-0 goal, when his Faroese club NSÍ Runavik turned a 0–2 home loss to the Slovenian side FC Koper into an overall victory after penalties. The previous—and until now only—such case occurred almost 63 years ago, when Northern Irish striker Jimmy Hasty of Dundalk found the net against FC Zürich in the European Cup.[3]

Club career

Marius Kryger Lindh started his senior career in the Danish club Slagelse B&I, where he debuted at 17 years old. In 2022 he moved to AB Argir where he soon became a profile.[4] This paved the way for a transfer to B36 Tórshavn before the 2024 season.[5][6]

After the 2024 season, Marius Kryger Lindh was awarded player of the year by the supporters of B36 Tórshavn.[7][8]

Marius Kryger Lindh is one of the very few one armed players, who has participated in European club tournaments. That happened in 2024, where he played for B36 Tórshavn in Conference League against Auda from Latvia.[9]

Marius Kryger Lindh's performances at B36 have turned him into a fan favorite, and his personal story resonates beyond football.
