Early life and education
Mary La Chapelle was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, U.S.[citation needed]
She graduated from the University of Minnesota, and from Vermont College with an MFA.[1]
Career
As of March 2026[update] La Chapelle teaches at Sarah Lawrence College.[1]
Her work has appeared in Lumina,[2] Nimrod, Northern Lit Review, Redbook, and First.[citation needed]
