Matachia livor is a species of Desidae spider that is endemic to New Zealand.[1]
This species was first described by Arthur Urquhart in 1893 from a male specimen.[2] It has undergone numerous revisions.[3][4] The holotype is stored in Canterbury Museum.[1]
Description
The male is recorded at 7.66mm in length whereas the female is 7.20mm. The abdomen has a prominent chevron pattern dorsally.[1]
