Sokol signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent following the 2019 NFL draft on April 27, 2019.[2] He was waived during final roster cuts on August 31, 2019,[3] and signed to the team's practice squad the next day.[4] He was released on September 18,[5] and re-signed to the practice squad on October 1.[6] He was released again on October 9, 2019.[7]
Sokol signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars' practice squad on November 18, 2019.[8]
Sokol signed a reserve/future contract with the Detroit Lions on December 31, 2019.[9] He was waived during final roster cuts on September 5, 2020,[10] and signed to the team's practice squad on October 21, 2020.[11] He was released three days later.[12]
Sokol re-signed with the Chargers' practice squad on October 31, 2020.[13] He was elevated to the active roster on December 26 for the team's week 16 game against the Denver Broncos, and reverted to the practice squad after the game.[14] He was promoted to the active roster on January 1, 2021.[15]
On August 31, 2021, Sokol was waived by the Chargers.[16]
Sokol re-signed with the Jaguars' practice squad on September 2, 2021.[17]
On January 12, 2022, Sokol signed a reserve/future contract with the Lions.[18] He was waived on May 10.[19]
On May 11, 2022, Sokol was claimed off waivers by the New England Patriots.[20] He was waived on August 30, and signed to the practice squad the next day.[21][22] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 10, 2023.[23]
On August 29, 2023, Sokol was waived by the Patriots and re-signed to the practice squad.[24][25] He was not among the team's players signed to reserve/future contracts in 2024, and thus became a free agent at the expiration of his practice squad contract.[26][27]
On July 30, 2024, Sokol signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.[28] He was waived on August 27, and later re-signed to the practice squad.[29][30] Sokol was released on September 24. He again signed to the practice squad on November 6.
On July 22, 2025, Sokol signed with the Buffalo Bills.[31] He was waived on August 24.[32]
On September 17, 2025, Sokol signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad.[33]
