Matthew Ayeh is a Ghanaian entrepreneur and political figure. He is the managing director of Western Multimedia, the parent company of Trinity 96.7 FM and Fact 104.3 FM, and serves as the Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Comgress (NDC) in the Prestea-Huni Valley Constituency of Ghana's Western Region. Media career
Ayeh leads Western Multimedia, a media organization in the Western Region of Ghana. Under his leadership, Trinity FM and Fact FM have been instrumental in community development efforts, particularly in youth empowerment. His work in the media industry has earned him several accolades, including an award for his contribution to media development in the region.[3]
In 2018, he awarded a scholarship to a Class 5 pupil from Bogoso R/C Primary School. The scholarship was given after the student excelled in a gospel music competition organized by Trinity FM, highlighting Ayeh’s commitment to promoting education and nurturing young talents in his community.[4]
Political career
He has been involved with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency. In 2018, he was re-elected as the Constituency Secretary after securing a significant number of votes during the party's internal elections. His re-election was seen as a testament to his dedication and hard work in strengthening the party at the grassroots level.[5]
Before the elections, NDC delegates in the constituency publicly assured him of their continued support, citing his loyalty, competence, and organizational skills. Many members credited him with maintaining the party’s structures and ensuring effective communication within the constituency. [6]
In 2025, he received endorsements from members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and local opinion leaders for the position of Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Prestea Huni-Valley Municipal.[7]
