Md. Ashraful Hoque is an academic. He is the current vice chancellor of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST)[1][2] and pro vice-chancellor of Islamic University of Technology (IUT).[3][4] He was previously a professor in the department of electrical and electronic engineering at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET).[5]
Hoque was born in Rangpur, Bangladesh. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, graduating in 1986.[2] He later completed his master's degree in 1993 and a PhD in 1996 from Memorial University of Newfoundland.[2]
