Meirinhas is a civil parish in the municipality of Pombal, Portugal. The population in 2021 was 1,649,[1] in an area of 8.88 km².[2]
It was part of the parish of Vermoil until the creation of Meirinhas on December 31, 1984.
On January 28 2026, Storm Kristin caused a catastrophic impact in Meirinhas with losses exceeding €500 million and nearly all homes and businesses suffering damage.[3]
