Melvin Deontae Oliver (born July 25, 1983) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for one season with the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the LSU Tigers and was selected by the 49ers in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL draft with the 197th overall pick.[1] In Week 5 of the 2006 season, he scored a touchdown on a 12-yard defensive fumble return against the Oakland Raiders.[2]
