Reception

The film received mostly mixed reviews.[4] Algemeen Dagblad said that the film had too many romcom-clichés and caricatures for the people to feel real.[5] De Volkskrant also mentioned the romcom-clichés and wished the film had more depth to it.[6] However NRC Handelsblad was a bit more positive saying that the film aims for a young audience but with the pace of the jokes could also get other people invested.[7] The film was sold out on its openingweekend.[8]
