Metroid Ravenous is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by MercurySteam and Nintendo EPD and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch 2. It is the sequel to Metroid Dread (2021). Ravenous is scheduled for release on January 28, 2027.

Development
Nintendo announced Metroid Ravenous in a Nintendo Direct presentation on September 9, 2026.[1] Like its predecessor Metroid Dread (2021), it is developed by MercurySteam and features side-scrolling gameplay.[1][2] It is scheduled for release on January 28, 2027, for the Nintendo Switch 2.[1]
