Michele Sensi-Contugi

Michele Sensi Contugi Ycaza (12 August 1982–19 August, 2026) was an Italian-born Ecuadorian government minister. In April 2024, he was appointed Minister of Government, succeeding Mónica Palencia.[1] Later that year, he was appointed as head of the country's National Intelligence Center.[2]

Personal life and death
Michele Sensi Contugi Ycaza was born in 12 August, 1982, in Italy; his father was Italian and his mother was Ecuadorian.[1]
He married Stephany Hollihan Vascones, a fashion designed, on 23 May, 2008.[1]
He and his wife were killed in a helicopter crash on Mount Ololokwe in Samburu County, Kenya on 19 August, 2026.[2][3] They had been flying to the Ewaso Ng'iro river.[3]
