Middletown Area High School is a small, suburban, public high school in Lower Swatara Township, Pennsylvania,[3] with a Middletown post office address. It is the only high school operated by Middletown Area School District. Middletown Area High School serves: the boroughs of Middletown and Royalton and Lower Swatara Township in Dauphin County. In the 2015–2016 school year, enrollment was 653 pupils in 9th through 12th grades.[2]
