Mihály Nagy (wrestler)

Nagy began wrestling at an early age and became a member of the Sziget SC club. In 2014, he competed at the European Championships but finished 14th. The following year, he placed 8th at the 2015 World Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas.^[1]

His most notable result came at the 2018 European Wrestling Championships in Kaspiysk. After a 2–2 draw with Belarusian Ali Shabanau and a loss to Martin Obst of Germany, Nagy entered the repechage round. There, he defeated Alexandru Burcă of Moldova by a score of 8–1 to secure the bronze medal in the 79 kg category.^[2]

Later in 2018, Nagy represented Hungary at the 2018 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest. In the qualification round, he faced Sosuke Takatani of Japan and lost by technical superiority (0–9).^[3]
