Mike Dailly (game designer)

Michael Dailly is a Scottish video game designer, best known for designing Lemmings (1991)[1] and the original prototype of Grand Theft Auto (1997). He was one of the first employees at DMA Design (now Rockstar North).[2]

Between 2010 and 2018, Dailly was working with YoYo Games as the lead developer of the GameMaker: Studio game engine.[3]
Dailly was given the lifetime achievement award at the 2023 Scottish Games Awards.[4]
