Political career
Mike Onyekwere Ukoha was elected to represent Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly in the 2019 general election on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). He served in the 7th Abia State House of Assembly from 2019 to 2023.
Following his inauguration, Ukoha was appointed Minority Whip of the Assembly. In 2022, he defected from APGA to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In the 2023 general election, Ukoha contested for re-election to the House of Assembly on the platform of the APC but was defeated by Kalu Mba Nwoke of the Labour Party.[5][6][1]
