Mitchell S. Walding (born September 10, 1992) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies in 2018 and 2019. Walding was drafted by the Phillies in the fifth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft.

Walding was born in Lodi, California.[1] He attended St. Mary's High School in Stockton, California, where he was a starting pitcher and shortstop on the baseball team as well as an all-league quarterback on the football team, graduating in 2011.[1][2][3][4] In his senior year he batted .442 with a .584 slugging percentage, and as a pitcher he was 6-1 with a 0.63 ERA.[3]
