Mittens is a 1938 Australian radio serial about horse racing. It was produced by George Edwards and written by Maurice Francis.[1][2] Edwards owned race horses in his personal life.[3][4]
The series was successful and ran for several years.[5] It led to a series of turf dramas from Edwards including The Rank Outsider, His Last Plunge, The Dark Horse and The Dead Certainty.[6][7]
