Mladica (Slovene pronunciation: [mlaˈdiːtsa], German: Mladiza[3]) is a former settlement in the Municipality of Semič in southeastern Slovenia. It is now part of the town of Semič.[4] The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

Mladica is a clustered settlement on a low outcropping with sinkholes southeast of Semič. There are tilled fields surrounding the former village, some of them on broad agricultural terraces.[2] The soil is sandy and relatively fertile.[1] There is a spring along the road through the village.[2]
