Moneta mirabilis is a species of spider in the family Theridiidae (comb-footed spiders). [1] It is found across East Asia and Southeast Asia, including China, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Japan.[1]
The species was originally described as Hyptimorpha mirabilis by Bösenberg and Strand in 1906.[2] It was later transferred to the genus Moneta by Okuma in 1994, who also designated it as the type species for a taxonomic revision.[3]
