Monsters of God is a 2026 American documentary series directed and executive produced by Eric Goode. It follows the underworld of exotic reptile smuggling based on[1] Bryan Christy's nonfiction book "The Lizard King: The True Crimes and Passions of the World's Greatest Reptile Smugglers".[2]

Premise
Explores the underworld of exotic animal smuggling based on reptile dealers and traffickers first investigated and reported on by Bryan Christy in his 2008 nonfiction book The Lizard King: The True Crimes and Passions of the World's Greatest Reptile Smugglers.[1][2]
