History

Foundation

The club was founded in 1902 as Società Ciclistica Aquila and in 1926 was renamed Club Sportivo Aquila Montevarchi.[citation needed]

Dissolution

On 24 November 2011 it was declared bankrupt and immediately excluded from the championship of Eccellenza Tuscany with the consequent radiation from the Italian football.[citation needed]

Rivalry

Its main rivalries of Tuscany included Arezzo,[2] Carrarese,[2] Sangiovannese,[2] Siena,[2] Viareggio,[2] Poggibonsi,[3] Prato, Lucchese, Pistoiese and Massese and those outside the region included Alessandria, Foligno, Pavia and Gualdo.
