Monument to the Lycée Chases is a 1989 installation piece by French artist Christian Boltanski. In 2006, it was purchased by the University of Michigan Museum of Art.[1]

Boltanski first drew the piece out on paper, using pencil, colored pencil, and ink on graph paper mounted on board.[2] That sketch, created 1987–1989, is owned by the Museum of Modern Art.[2]
