Mostefa Belloucif (April 2, 1939  January 14, 2010) was an Algerian military officer who served as the chief of staff of the People's National Army (1984  1986) and secretary general of the Ministry of National Defense (1986  1987).[1] Regarded as one of the central figures of the Algerian socialist regime, he also served as military adviser to Chadli Bendjedid, third president of Algeria.[2]
