Mostefa Belloucif (April 2, 1939 – January 14, 2010) was an Algerian military officer who served as the chief of staff of the People's National Army (1984 – 1986) and secretary general of the Ministry of National Defense (1986 – 1987).[1] Regarded as one of the central figures of the Algerian socialist regime, he also served as military adviser to Chadli Bendjedid, third president of Algeria.[2]
