Mount Marlow is a rural locality in the Whitsunday Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Mount Marlow had a population of 161 people.[1]
Mount Marlow (20°21′13″S 148°38′23″E / 20.3537°S 148.6396°E) rises to 354 metres (1,161 ft) above sea level. It is in the eastern part of the locality.[3][4][5]
The Proserpine–Shute Harbour Road (State Route 59) passes through the locality from south to north and then runs along the northern boundary.[6]
History
Mount Marlow Provisional School opened on 1900. On 1 January 1909 it became Mount Marlow State School. It closed in 1954.[7]
