Muhammad Aamer (born 25 June 1968) is a Pakistani retired military officer who is serving as the Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar. He was commissioned in an artillery regiment in 1987, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general in 2019, and later served as commander of XXX Corps at Gujranwala. He was a aide-de-camp to Asif Ali Zardari during his first tenure as president.[1]
