The Multinational Maritime Defense Alliance is an alliance formed on 30 July 2026 between Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Djibouti, Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, and the Comoros.[1]

During the 2026 Iran war, the alliance was announced on 30 July 2026 to ensure the freedom of navigation through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Aden.[2]
