Murtaza Lakhani

Murtaza Ali Lakhani (born 8 March 1962) is a Pakistani-Canadian oil trader and businessman who is known for his role in managing oil exports for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and his close associations with major commodity trading houses, such as Glencore and Vitol.[1][2] He is currently subject to sanctions by the European Union and the United Kingdom.[3][4]

Lakhani is the founder of Mercantile & Maritime Group.[5][6]
