Musa celebica

This species of wild banana is native to Sulawesi, Indonesia.^[1][2] It is believed to inhabit the island's tropical rainforests, including lowland evergreen and montane forests.

As a member of the genus Musa, Musa celebica is likely an herbaceous perennial with a pseudostem formed by tightly packed leaf sheaths. It probably features large leaves and produces inflorescences with female flowers at the base and male flowers at the tip.
