Namrata Das is an Indian actress in Odia film Industry.[1] Das is best known for her supporting roles often as a mother or grandmother in film and telivision.[2] She made her film debut in Dharitri in 1973 and has since acted in over 200 Odia film and three Bengali films.[3][4] In January 2020 Das received a ' Bhumi Kanya ' award for her contribution in the odia film industry. She is also the recipient of a state award for the film Lakshmi Pratima.[5]
