According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.4 square miles (6.2 km2), of which 2.4 square miles (6.2 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) is water. The total area is 99.16% land.

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Naples has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.[4]

As of the 2020 census, there were 1,387 people residing in the city.[6]

2020 census

The median age was 39.9 years, with 25.2% of residents under the age of 18 and 20.6% of residents 65 years of age or older.[6]

For every 100 females there were 94.8 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 88.4 males age 18 and over.[6]

0.0% of residents lived in urban areas, while 100.0% lived in rural areas.[7]

The census counted 540 households, including 321 families; 32.2% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 38.1% were married-couple households, 18.7% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 36.3% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. About 32.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.[6]

There were 652 housing units, of which 17.2% were vacant. The homeowner vacancy rate was 4.7% and the rental vacancy rate was 10.3%.[6]
