Career
Furman played college baseball at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In 2022, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[1] He was selected by the Cleveland Guardians in the fourth round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.[2]
On August 28, 2024, Furman was traded by the Guardians to the San Francisco Giants as the player to be named later from the July 30 trade for Alex Cobb.[3]
On August 1, 2026, Furman was promoted to the major leagues for the first time.[4]
