Nauru at the 2026 Commonwealth Games

Nauru competed at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.[1][2][3] This marked Nauru's tenth participation at the games, after making its debut at the 1990 Commonwealth Games.

The King's Baton relay stopped in Nauru in January 2026.[4] The team from Nauru consisted of 14 athletes (ten men and four women) competing in four sports.[5][6][7] On the even of the games boxer Christon Amram was withdrawn due to gender testing results not being received on time.[8]
Femily-Crystie Notte was the country's flagbearer during the opening ceremony.[9] Meanwhile, sprinter Winzar Kakiouea was the baton bearer during the opening ceremony.[9]
Nauru won its first medal, a bronze in weightlifting on July 27.[10][11] The following day, 17-year old Femily-Crystie Notte won bronze in weightlifting.[12][13] Ultimately, Nauru completed the competition with two bronze medals.[14]

Nauru qualified four weightlifters (two per gender).[18][19] Nauru would later receive two reallocated quotas, in the men's 88 kg and women's 58 kg events.[20] Nauru's only two medals, both bronzes came in the sport of weightlifting.[10][12]
