Nawab Singh Nagar is an Indian politician. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Nagar is a former Minister in the Government of Uttar Pradesh and served twice as Member of the Legislative Assembly for Dadri between 1996 and 2007. He is currently the chairperson of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Sugarcane Development Board[1][2] and also the Vice-President of Uttar Pradesh BJP.[3][4]

Nawab Singh Nagar joined RSS while at college. He left RSS for the Bharatiya Janata Party when the BJP was formed in the mid-1980s. He contested his first assembly election for the constituency of Dadri in 1993 under the BJP banner but lost to Sameer Bhati. He won his first election in 1996 defeating Sameer Bhati in the same constituency. In 2002, he was elected again. When the BJP formed the government in 2002, Nagar was appointed the State Irrigation Minister. Nagar lost the assembly election in 2007 to the BSP candidate, Satveer Gurjar. In 2013, he was appointed the National Vice President of BJP Kisan Morcha.[5]

When the BJP was formed in 1980, Nagar was appointed the first Mandal president of Noida.[6]
