It is now included with the rest of the Municipality of Moravče in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.[2] The settlement includes the hamlets of Spodnja Vas (Slovene: Spodnja vas, German: Unternegastern[3]), Zgornja Vas (Slovene: Zgornja vas, German: Obernegastern[3]), and Podoreh.[4]
