Nellie Huntington Gere (October 5, 1868–July 29, 1949)[1] was an American painter and illustrator.[2] She was the head of the art department at State Normal School .[1] She was also an instructor at the University of California. She was known for her landscape works and etchings.[3]
Nellie Huntington Gere studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, Pratt Institute, and the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts.[1]
