Neoscona chiarinii is a species of spider in the family Araneidae.[2] It is commonly known as Chiarini's Neoscona orb-web spider and is an endemic species to Africa.[3]
Neoscona chiarinii is known from eight African countries: Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Uganda. The species also occurs in South Africa.[3]
In South Africa, the species has been recorded from two provinces: KwaZulu-Natal (Tembe Elephant Park) and Mpumalanga (Dullstroom).[3]
