Neoscona multiplicans is a species of orb weaver spider in the family Araneidae. It is found in China, Korea, and Japan.[1]

The species was originally described as Aranea multiplicans by Chamberlin in 1924 based on specimens from China.[2] It was later redescribed as Neoscona minoriscylla by Yin et al. in 1990,[3] but Song, Chen & Zhu (1997) established that this was a junior synonym and restored the original name N. multiplicans.[4]

Distribution

N. multiplicans is distributed across East Asia, with records from China, Korea, and Japan.[1] In China, it has been recorded from multiple provinces including Hunan, Guangxi, Hainan, Yunnan, Zhejiang, and Fujian.[3]
