New Zealand competed at the 2025 Summer World University Games in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany. held from 16 to 27 July 2025.[1] New Zealand was represented by 84 athletes and took fifty-third place in the medal table with two medals.[2][3][4] Havana Hopman (rhythmic gymnastics) and Josef Schuler (water polo) were a flag bearers at the opening ceremony.[5]
