Newbury is a locality in central Victoria, Australia. The locality is in the Shire of Hepburn, 96 kilometres (60 mi) north west of the state capital, Melbourne. At the 2016 census, Newbury had a population of 71.[1] It lies between Trentham, Victoria and Blackwood, Victoria.
The television series The Man from Snowy River was filmed in Newbury.[citation needed] The locality is also home to a Buddhist monastery.[2]
