Nicolas Grimaldi (French: [nikola ɡʁimaldi]; 24 December 1933 – 13 February 2026) was a French philosopher.[1]
Of Corsican origin, Grimaldi was the son of Dominique Grimaldi, a professor engaged with the Workers' Force and the French Section of the Workers' International.[2] He earned his agrégation in 1959[3] and his doctorate in 1970.[4] He spent most of his career as a professor at Paris-Sorbonne University.[5]
Grimaldi died in Lyon on 13 February 2026, at the age of 92.[6]
