Novy Kostek (Russian: Новый Костек) is a rural locality (a selo) in Khasavyurtovsky District, Republic of Dagestan, Russia. Population: 5,502 (2021 census);[2] 3,736 (2002 census);[3] 2,189 (1989 Soviet census).[4] There are 39 streets.[5]

Novy Kostek is located 27 km northeast of Khasavyurt (the district's administrative centre) by road. Kostek is the nearest rural locality.[6]
