Ohun is a village located in the Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State in north-central Nigeria. It is part of the network of settlements that make up the Okun cultural region.
Ohun occupies a patch of gently rising land on the Yagba highland, with grassland vegetation and scattered trees typical of the savanna belt. The settlement sits to the southeast of Isanlu and is surrounded by small clusters of farmland.
Local economy
Crop farming is the central economic activity. Households cultivate cassava, yams, maize, millet and cashew. Informal trading and small livestock keeping provide supplementary income for many residents.
