Oktyabrsky (Russian: Октябрьский) is a rural locality (a khutor) in Gorodensky Selsoviet Rural Settlement, Lgovsky District, Kursk Oblast, Russia. Population: 12 (2010 census);[2] 31 (2002 census);[6]

Geography
The khutor is located in the Seym River basin, 51 km from the Russia–Ukraine border, 55 km south-west of Kursk, 10.5 km east of the district center – the town Lgov, 3 km from the selsoviet center – Gorodensk.[7]
