Oktyabrsky District (Russian: Октя́брьский райо́н) is an administrative^[1] and municipal^[5] district (raion), one of the twenty in Amur Oblast, Russia. The area of the district is 3,381 square kilometers (1,305 sq mi).^[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Yekaterinoslavka.^[2] Population: 19,679 (2010 census);^[4] 22,761 (2002 Census);^[7] 23,127 (1989 Soviet census).^[8] The population of Yekaterinoslavka accounts for 49.4% of the district's total population.^[4]
